About
Willow Glade
Welcome to our smallholding — a place shaped by the landscapes that have inspired me all my life. I grew up on the edge of Dartmoor, surrounded by wild moorland, shifting skies, and the quiet presence of nature. Those early experiences continue to influence everything I do, from the materials I work with to the workshops I share here on the land.
Today, on our smallholding near Ashwater, we grow our own food and willow in a sustainable, environmentally conscious way. I use this home-grown willow alongside recycled and upcycled materials in the workshops I run — creative, hands-on sessions designed to help you connect with natural materials while crafting your own piece of willow work to take home.
When you visit, you’ll be welcomed with food grown right here on the plot. You're invited to wander the garden during your break or after the workshop, where you can see how we grow, experiment, and care for the land throughout the year. We also have a selection of plants for sale, and we hold open-garden days for those who simply want to explore, chat, and enjoy the space.
My hope is that your time here feels grounding, inspiring, and connected to nature — a gentle reminder of how creativity and sustainability can come together beautifully.

Hope to see you soon
